Okwuluora, who attended the burial, recounted his experience, stating that he had to turn back without even stepping down from his vehicle.
He described the scene as resembling more of a traditional marriage ceremony rather than a solemn burial.
Expressing his dismay, Okwuluora criticized the conduct of celebrities and other guests at the event, accusing them of prioritizing self-promotion over honoring the memory of the deceased.
He particularly highlighted the absence of a tearful and quiet atmosphere that he had anticipated for such a somber occasion.
In his social media post, Okwuluora voiced his expectation for an instant fundraising initiative to support Junior Pope’s bereaved family directly.
He emphasized the need for financial assistance, especially considering that the actor passed away unexpectedly in his prime.

The Truth is that I came to Junior Pope’s Burial but turned back without stepping down! I was expecting a tearful & quiet atmosphere but saw a thousand people Creating Contents & showing OFF!
“We are talking about a man who died in his Prime! I was expecting that an Instant Fundraising will be done directly into the Account of his Wife or Children!
“If not told you would believe that to be a Traditional Marriage & not Burial! I decided to leave then plan to see the family in Private! Alot of things in Igbo Land are now Opposite!!!”
