Daniel Regha calls out Tems over stage performances

Tems faces criticism over her stage performances

Nigerian social media critic and well-known figure, Daniel Regha, has taken to social media to criticize Nigerian singer Tems over her stage performances.

Tems, who recently made an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, has faced criticism from various quarters, with Daniel Regha being one of the vocal critics.

In a tweet shared on the popular microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), Daniel Regha expressed his dissatisfaction with Tems’ stage presence.

Tems.

Daniel Regha pointed out that despite Tems’ songs not necessarily demanding energetic performances involving shouting or jumping, her live performances, in his view, lacked the necessary energy and charisma.

In his words;

“Tems doesn’t have a good stage presence; Her songs don’t require shouting or jumping, but still, her live performances are quite awful! Truth be told. There’s always no energy when she’s performing live, & sometimes go off beats. Her appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon is one proof. No offense.”

Daniel Regha’s criticism comes amidst a growing conversation surrounding Tems’ performances, especially following her appearance on the Tonight Show.
