Fast-rising Nigerian Singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, recently shared a personal story about his breakup with his Canadian ex-girlfriend.
He revealed that their relationship came to an end after she found out that a female friend of his had given him a peck on the cheek.
In an Instagram post, Spyro admitted that the breakup had been incredibly painful for him and had caused him to harbor negative feelings towards Canada.
He revealed that with the help of supportive messages from his pastor, he was able to heal from the heartbreak and move forward.
He said:
“Canada I want to be honest today…
“The reason why I have pushed this tour this far is because I was still healing from a serious heartbreak from one of your girls there.
“Quite painful as I saw a future with us …already bought a ring and all of a sudden she ended it and for what, because a female friend pecked me after I bought her something she needed and I wanted to be open so I told her and that led to a series of events that ended the relationship.
“Since then I resented the idea of Canada and everything that surrounds it but now I am healed thanks to a series of messages from my pastor.”
In another story, Spyro gushes, recounts ‘tempting’ moment with BBNaija’s Nengi following encounter.
In a post on Instagram, he recalled being asked which female industry figure he would avoid being alone with during an interview.
Spyro humorously mentioned Nengi, stating that he tries not to act like Jesus and avoids being tempted by staying away from the former BBNaija star.
He also mentioned seeing her at a show where they sat across from each other. Spyro hinted at having tempting thoughts and disclosed how he prayed against it until he left the situation.
