- It’s no news that Mohbad’s father has continued to call for a DNA test to prove the singer’s son is truly his grandson.
- In a recent development, the late singer’s father was asked what he’d do if it is later proved that Liam is his grandson.
- Mr Aloba revealed what his reaction would be if that turns out to be the case.
Mr Joseph Aloba, has revealed how he would react to the report if DNA test proves that Liam Aloba is indeed the son of Mohbad, and by extension, his own grandson.
While fielding questions during a morning chat on TVC, Joseph was asked by the anchors what he’d do if the boy turns out to be the child of his son.
He clarified that his interest in demanding a DNA test from Wunmi is because he wants to ascertain for a fact that the boy is his blood relative.
According to the man, who is often in the news since the musician passed away last September, if the test conclusively shows that the boy is truly Mohbad’s son, he would accept the result.

Meanwhile, late Ilerioluwa “Mohbad” Aloba’s father, Joseph Aloba asserted that a likely attempt to conduct DNA test on Liam, might be the motive for the musician’s death.
He made the claim in an interview on Friday while disclosing that the CCTV in his Mohbad’s house was removed after he passed away.
Mr Aloba said he invited lawyers interested in the case to help him unravel what led to his son’s death as he’s also not pleased with the report of the pathologist.
The grieving father said that he wants police authorities to uphold the petition which Mohbad wrote to them while he was still alive.
It may be recalled that the pathologist handling Mohbad’s case said the autopsy could not identify the cause of his death because the body was already decomposing when it was exhumed and brought for cross-examination.
Joseph said; “A lot of things have led to the death and I think DNA is one of the motives that I’ve observed can lead to the death of my son”.
