Award-winning movie actor Wale Ojo has announced the death of his mother.
The British Nigerian star shared a photo of himself and mother on Instagram on Saturday June 1, saying his world had crashed.
Expressing his grief, Wale Ojo said he would miss his mother terribly. He wrote:
“My world has crashed all around me. Mama is gone. Goodnight Mum. I will miss you terribly, terribly.”
Wale Ojo won Best Actor prize at the 2024 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) which took place on May 11 at Eko Hotel and Suites.
The 55-year-old scooped the award for his performance in Breath of Life.
After winning, he shared a photo of himself on Instagram with the words, “Mama I won”.

In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Coker spoke about the life-threatening nature of her PCOS diagnosis.
She spoke about how she conceived her first child, Ariella, via IVF and her attempt to conceive a second child via that same route.
According to her, she spent over $40,000 and had traveled to Los Angeles for an IVF operation last year, which unfortunately failed. She further disclosed that after the failed IVF she called her friend stating that she felt the baby rejected her.
