Tems expressed a sentiment of partial recognition but an uncertainty regarding the full comprehension of her musical endeavors.

When questioned about whether she feels appreciated by Nigerians and if they truly grasp the essence of her music, Tems responded.

“Understand, no. I don’t know if they appreciate my music but I feel appreciated as a person by Nigerians,” Tems said during the interview.
