Ayra Starr’s ‘Year I Turned 21’ hits 375 million steams on first day
  • Ayra Starr has recorded a new feat on major streaming platforms with her latest body of works, ‘Year I turned 21’.
  • The news was announced in a post sighted on social media, about the laudable feat she recorded.
  • The album was released in June.

Mavin record signee, Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, professionally known as Ayra Starr, has recorded a great achievement with her new album, ‘Year I Turned 21’ which was released a day ago.

The music star, who had an electrifying performance in Brazil recently, had released her new work, ‘Year I turned 21‘ on YouTube and other streaming platforms.

It has eight songs including Commas, Birds Sing of Money, Woman Commando, 21 and a few others which has been giving her fans joy.

In the post about Ayra Starr’s new feat, the album already has a cumulative stream of 375 million in just a day.

A few fans were quick to hail the singer, who loves wearing skimpy outfits.

“The Year I Turned 21” is a 15-track album featuring collaborations with Asake, Giveon, Coco Jones, Anitta, Rvssian and Rauw Alejandro on tracks like “Goodbye (Warm Up),” “Last Heartbreak Song,” “Woman Commando” and “Santa” respectively. The album also includes the previously released “Commas” and “Bad Vibes.”

WITHIN NIGERIA reported that the Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ayra Starr verbally expressed how the creation and circumstances surrounding her sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21’ came to be.

In a recent interview, the superstar singer disclosed that she had writer’s block which went on for 6 months.

Ayra Starr also spoke on how she was able to overcome and get past it.

The ‘Rush’ crooner said she couldn’t write songs for about six months until she received the demo of her song ’21’ off her new album, ‘The Year I Turned 21,’ from a friend as a birthday present which opened her mind.
