- The moviemaker released the movie on Netflix to the excitement of his fans, but they were not impressed.
- In a voice note leaked online, a fan said he shouldn’t have put it on such big platform but should be made into CDs.
Nollywood actor cum producer, Ibrahim Yekini professionally known as Itele received backlash from fans over his cinematic movie, “Kesari, The King” which recently aired on the movie streaming platform, Netflix.
The movie which was released on May 31, 2024, has been receiving negative reviews from fans as it continues to trend on social media. However, the epic movie is currently No.1 among other movies on Netflix across the country.
In no time, an angry fan courageously sent a voice message to Itele via Instagram, slamming him on how awful and appalling the entire movie production is.
The fan speaking in Yoruba shared that the movie does not deserve to be on Netflix due to its disappointing storyline, hence, it should played with a cassette using a DVD player.
The voice note has gone viral, causing other viewers to express their disappointment over the newly released movie, claiming they wasted money watching the movie in the cinema and on Netflix thereafter.
