D'banj opens up on past dating life


Nigerian musician Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj,  shares his past experience with women.

in a recent interview with ‘The Beat‘ 99.9 FM Lagos, the singer, opened up about his past relationships, revealing that he had dated two women at the same time.

According to D’banj, this experience was as a result of his uncertainty and confusion.

He stated that that exploring multiple connections with women can help one identify the right partner.

He said:

“I have been in love with two women. [Sings ‘I’m in love with 2 women’ by V.I.P] ‘I’m in love with two women, I don’t know which one to pick.’ If you never love two women, how you wan come take know the right one for you?”.

In addition to this revelation, D’banj also acknowledged having stalked his ex on social media in the past.

D’banj had earlier opened up on how he handles  female fans who throw themselves at him.

In a recent interview on TVC’s ‘Your View‘, the singer revealed that while female fans may throw themselves at him, he remains oblivious to their advances.

When asked if women often try to get close to him, D’banj chuckled and nodded in agreement. However, he emphasized that he doesn’t give them much attention.

One of the hosts asked him:

“Do women really always put that pressure on you and want to be around you? Do they throw themselves at you?”

D’banj replied:

I’m unavailable, dem no dey see me.”

D’banj credits his wife, Lineo, with keeping him grounded and aware of his surroundings.

According to D’banj, Lineo often points out female fans who try to get his attention, he said:

“My wife is usually the one that sees them and when we get home she’d be like ‘That one there and that one too was there,’ and I’d be like, ‘Oh you saw them? I didn’t see them.”

D’banj acknowledged that having fans comes with the territory of being a celebrity, but he’s grateful to have a partner like Lineo who keeps him focused.
