Supermodel Oluchi Onweagba has set the record straight on being the first Nigerian and African ambassador for L’Oréal Paris.
This came on the heels of Nigerian actress and billionaire heiress, Temi Otedola’s recent announcement as the brand’s first African ambassador.
Oluchi Onweagba took to the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram to make the true facts known regarding Temi Otedola’s declaration.
The supermodel said she is the first Nigerian to be an ambassador for L’Oréal Paris and shared proof to back her claims.
Oluchi who stated that she is the legitimate owner of the achievement shared a throwback photo of herself modeling for the brand. The super model while throwing shade wrote:
“LEGITIMATE TBT FIRST NIGERIAN REMAINS FIRST FOREVER. NOT A LOUD SPEAKER BUT COUNT ON ME TO SHOW YOU ALL RECEIPT.”
Oluchi Onweagba’s post is a clear response to Temi Otedola’s recent announcement, following her reveal on social media. Sharing a photo of herself, Temi had written:
“I still don’t believe I’m typing this but l’m so excited to announce that I am the first ever African Digital Ambassador for @lorealparis
I’m truly honoured to be the first Nigerian representing L’Oréal not only across Africa but also on a global stage. This has been the hardest secret to keep for the last 6 months!!.”
