Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has ignited a fresh wave of drama after his senior colleague, Davido, unfollowed him on social media.
Davido’s decision to cut ties on Instagram comes in the wake of a controversial hangout in America that led to a barrage of allegations and heated exchanges.
In a heated Instagram Live session, the Zazu crooner, Portable, made it clear that Davido unfollowing him wouldn’t affect his career. Dismissing the snub, Portable emphasized his resilience and independence in the music industry.
He went on to highlight the prevalence of fake love among artists, claiming that only a select few genuinely helped him achieve the fame he enjoys today.
His words:
“I’m also an 001 because I’ve always get everything I wanted and since I started my music how many of you guys have helped me . I’m not a fa!lure , I’m a winner.”
He further asserted that the Timeless hitmaker attempted to undermine him following their memorable time in the US, and, having failed, subsequently unfollowed him.

WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Portable recently lamented that Davido, who signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and urged him to sign with Empire instead.
The ‘Zazu’ crooner alleged foul play, saying he is also aiming for a Grammy like Davido yet the DMW boss is asking him to join a label that might not influence the award for him.
