In other news, veteran actress, Rita Edochie takes a swipe at Yvonne Jegede for supporting Yul Edochie and Judy Austin’s marriage during a recent podcast.
Yvonne Jegede had appeared on The Honest Bunch podcast, where she voiced her support for Yul Edochie’s decision to marry a second wife, Judy Austin, before later issuing a public apology.
Rita Edochie, who has consistently opposed Yul’s marriage to Judy, expressed her disappointment in Yvonne’s remarks. Rita questioned whether Yvonne would have defended Yul the way she did if May were to be her sister.
Rita further highlighted the difference between Yul and Regina Daniels’ husband, Ned Nwoko, noting that Yul humiliated his estranged wife publicly on social media, while Ned, a known polygamist and Muslim, follows his religion’s allowances for multiple wives.
Acknowledging that polygamy is neither a sin nor an abomination, Rita emphasized that it often brings chaos.
