Rubi Rose clarifies her age after saying she was 16 when she became video vixen

Rubi Rose sets the record straight about her age after stating that she was 16 when she became a video vixen.

Controversial American rapper and model Rubi Rose, has now changed her previous statement regarding the age at which she started her career as a video vixen.

Rubi rose to fame following her role in the music video for the 2016 hit single ‘Bad and Boujee’ by Migos.

During a recent episode of the Joe Budden podcast, the rapper initially claimed she was 16 years old when she featured in the video.

“I believe I was 16 or 17 when I made an appearance in the ‘Bad and Boujee’ video by Migos,” she recollected.

This statement received criticism due to the legal age of consent in the United States being 18, raising concerns about the use of an underage girl in an adult music video.

In response to the negative feedback, Rubi Rose has now clarified that she was actually 18 years old when she appeared in the video, not 16 as she had previously stated on the podcast.

“I was 18 in bad and boujee video, my bad y’all,” she wrote via X.
