Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has shared her thoughts on marriage, expressing her willingness to tie the knot.
She attributes her change of heart to her age and the recent trend of celebrity weddings, which have put pressure on her to get married.
In a post on her Instagram page, Nkechi Blessing revealed that she was not ready for marriage but has now changed her mind.
She encouraged singles not to succumb to pressure, emphasizing that love is beautiful and sweet.
Nkechi wrote:
“On the 25th was Chivido, yesterday was crazy about us [Sharon Oojo’s wedding]. Me I just dey here they think, shey na ExcessLove, XxBlessing, or Nkechi is XX, or Xxssive is Blessing.
“I don ready. I be no ready before. Dey will pressure you no panic, I panic. The pressure is much, love sweet o. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise, love is a beautiful thing. Look at their smiles.
“It’s like I am ready now, make una suggest hashtags abeg and the best designer for my dresses. The pressure don finally hook me for neck, and I don dey old.”

VDM, who attended the wedding, alleged that many celebrities, including Iyabo Ojo, Nkechi Blessing, and other influencers were not invited to the main event but only to the after-party. He also mentioned that Nkechi Blessing nearly got turned away at the venue.
Following this, in a video posted on her Instagram page, Nkechi Blessing declared that she had enough.
In the video, Nkechi also promoted a brand and emphasized that she is too occupied with her business to engage with VDM. She took a dig at VDM, saying that people like her, who have visas to travel worldwide, don’t involve themselves in public disputes but focus on their work alone.
