Famous clergyman, Ebuka Obi has disclosed that he wouldn’t allow his future wife to live with him in the same state when he eventually gets married.
The founder of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach Church made this declaration during a sermon where he noted that when he finally settles down, he would prefer a distant marriage.
Giving an illustration, he avowed that his wife might be in Enugu State while he stays in Lagos State, overseeing the affairs of the church or she resides in Canada while he stays in Nigeria.
He stated that he would be flying to see his wife occasionally and when she wants to see him, she can come over as well.
Elaborating on the reason behind this decision of his, Ebuka Obi disclosed that he can’t stay with his family and perfectly do God’s work.
He claimed that he’s often a different human being when he’s having an encounter with God. He referred the congregants to his mom, urging them to go and ask her how his eyes are whenever he’s speaking with the Holy Spirit.

He emphatically debunked the rumors as false and malicious, underscoring his deep respect for Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, whom he regards as a revered man of God.
Evangelist Ebuka provided context to the situation, describing the proximity of his church to Dr. Olukoya’s MFM church. He explained that, out of consideration, MFM would sometimes end their services early to avoid overlapping with his church’s schedule.
Recognizing the logistical challenges and potential clashes of services, Evangelist Ebuka said after approaching Dr. Olukoya, in a gesture of magnanimity, Olukoya decided to gift his church’s property to him and his congregation, ensured that the entire land could be used cohesively by Zion Prayer Movement Outreach Church.
Evangelist Ebuka clarified that the video capturing his congregation’s joyous celebration was not about acquiring MFM’s property through purchase, but rather, they were celebrating the expansion of their church.
According to him, the dancing and praising seen in the video occurred when MFM began moving out and handed the keys over to them.
Evangelist Ebuka concluded by offering a sincere apology to Dr. Olukoya and all MFM members for the mockery, speculations, and inconvenience the viral video has caused them.
