Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Nina Ivy has challenged those attacking Nollywood actress, Sharon Ooja and her husband, Ugo Nwoke following reports that he is a serial divorcee.
Recall on Thursday, June 27th Sharon got traditionally married in Abuja in the presence of family, friends and colleagues, and on Saturday, June 29th, the couple held a lavish white wedding.
Reports made the rounds on their wedding day that Nwoke has been married as many as three times and has children from previous unions.
This generated controversy as people began to question the possibility of Sharon’s first marriage lasting long given her husband’s history of leaving his wives.
Coming to the couple’s defence, Nina Ivy pointed out that people can have multiple marriages before finding happiness, and Sharon and her husband appear to be happy together.
She also clarified that the man in question was single before engaging and marrying Sharon. It is on that premise that Nina Ivy urged the public to respect their marriage and refrain from judging the actress’s husband‘s past.
The BBNaija star wrote;
“It’s how everyone is so interested in Sharon’s marriage for me. Y’all gotta learn to solve ur generational/family problems before jumping on other people’s lives. Leave them alone.
She is married y’all need respect that and respect her decision. People get married multiple times before finding peace of mind. They seem very happy together, he was
single before marrying her, he is doing very well for himself W2 or 1099 he is very good. He isn’t owing any of you. Let people be please”.
