In related news, Veteran Nigerian actor Olu Jacobs has debunked widespread reports of his death.

In a video released by his family, Jacobs, who was struggling with his speech, described the reports as lies.

In the footage, the frail-looking actor was having his hair cut by his son, who asked him, “Hello, dad, can you hear me? They said you died.”

Responding, the actor said: “I can hear, no, it’s a lie – I’m alive.”

Speaking further, the son said: “We are going to Ikoyi Club today and they will see you, all those foolish people

A video of legendary Actress Joke Silva and her husband Olu Jacobs, in Ikoyi Club in Lagos also popped up online following the death rumor.
