In a recent podcast interview with her friend Ginika, Sheila addressed the public fallout of her marriage, a video of which went viral on social media.
She expressed deep hurt over her ex-husband involving her friend and mother in their divorce saga but affirmed her belief that every event in life, positive or negative, is orchestrated by God.
“I did not regret any decision I have taken because it was all bound to happen. I believe strongly that God is in charge of all that happens in our lives whether positive or negative, there’s a master planner behind everything,” Sheila said.
She admitted to moments of sadness, particularly regarding the way her personal relationships were dragged into the public space.
“But I’ve had my moments of sadness. I feel so bad about the whole thing especially the way my friend and my mum were dragged into it [our divorce]. That has hurt me. But generally, I have zero regrets,” she added.
It is noteworthy that the couple married on October 20, 2022, in a lavish traditional ceremony in Benin City, but their union came to an end after barely eight months amid allegations of domestic violence and infidelity from both parties.
