Reality TV personality Ka3na Jones has publicly criticized veteran actress Rita Edochie over her support for the social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) amidst ongoing controversies surrounding his activities.
Rita Edochie recently expressed her admiration for VeryDarkMan, praising him as a commendable activist and expressing her appreciation for his work.
This endorsement, however, did not sit well with Ka3na Jones, who had previously voiced concerns over the activist’s numerous arrests.
In a response, Ka3na questioned Rita Edochie on the appropriateness of supporting someone with such a tumultuous history.
She posed a hypothetical scenario, asking if Rita would still find it acceptable if VeryDarkMan were her own son, frequently facing imprisonment.
Ka3na urged supporters of the activist to abandon “social media hypocrisy,” suggesting that VeryDarkMan would fare better with the guidance of the right people.
She wrote;
“This goes to show how many gaslighters this guy VDM has around him. @ritaedochie Mama with due respect, if this boy you call your son was actually your son, would it still be okay for him to be arrested countlessly and come out victorious? Y’all need to stop this SM hypocrisy. With the right people around VDM, he would do better. It’s obvious he doesn’t have people to give him good counsel.”
