Actress Wumi Toriola has praised her senior colleague Iyabo Ojo amid the ongoing controversy between the latter and social media influencer VeryDarkMan.
VDM had called Iyabo Ojo a failed actress and accused her of some outrageous behaviour, while controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo had also echoed similar sentiments.
Taking to her Instagram account, Wumi Toriola shared photos of her colleague and celebrated Iyabo Ojo for being a multi-skilled actress who continues to grace screens till today.
In her post, Wumi Toriola describes Iyabo Ojo, a mother of two, as a symbol of resilience. She highlighted her as a brave, tender, and fierce personality clothed in strength and dignity. She wrote:
“#WCW A SYMBOL OF RESILIENCE @iyaboojofespris. The world needs strong women like you. Women who will lift and build others, who will love and be loved. Women who live bravely, both tender and fierce. You are clothed in strength and dignity,”
Wumi Toriola went on to proclaim Iyabo Ojo a queen who wears many crowns, revealing that she is also a woman with good intentions. She added:
“A woman who wears so many crowns. Always on the right side of history. A QUEEN! A woman with good intentions but highly misconstrued, supportive, loving, and never judging,”
Acknowledging Iyabo Ojo’s illustrious career, Wumi Toriola prayed for strength for the actress. She concluded;
“You’ve graced our screens for decades and at this very point, you still make it worth it. May God continue to strengthen you. May your light continue to shine bright. As a woman, I am sending you so much love and hugs this morning. Take your flowers, QUEEN MOTHER. I stan, and restan,”
