Nigerian artist Rema shared his experiences in the music industry at the listening party for his new album.

The singer released his second studio album, titled “HEIS,” on July 11th.

At the event in Lagos, Rema opened up about the struggles he faced while navigating his career in music.

He explained that dealing with the pressures of fame led him to keep his personal life private as he worked through difficult times.

Rema expressed that he has simply been learning and evolving as an artist, despite some criticism about his growth and changes since entering the industry at a young age.

He emphasized the importance of being allowed to make mistakes and grow at his own pace, without the added burden of unrealistic expectations.
