Nigerian comedian and content creator, Craze Clown, recently attended the 2024 TrendUpp Awards, where he shared some insightful and personal thoughts with journalists.
In a chat with Legit.ng, he shared a previously untold story about his experience with Bitcoin in 2014, during his UK tour.
According to Craze Clown, he was paid 16 BTC but declined, opting for a smaller amount (5 BTC), which he later sold for $600. He expressed his regret for not investing in Bitcoin, considering its significant value appreciation over time. This decision, he considers his greatest regret in life.
He said:
“One advise I would give myself would have been Invest in Bitcoin. Let me tell you a story I have never shared in public before. In 2014 when I did my UK tour, I was paid in Bitcoin. The gave me 16BTC but I turned it down and collected just 5 I returned the rest. The following week I sold the 5 units I had on me for $600. That is my greatest regret in life.”
Additionally, Craze Clown revealed his most used phone app, which surprisingly was his bank app, emphasizing its social aspect, especially when accompanied by a debit alert.
He said:
“My bank app is my most used app o. Abi no be social media. Don’t we socialize there. That’s the biggest social media in the world especially when it comes with a debit alert.”
