“All I’ve met have been good to me” – Yul Edochie defends Mbaise people

Yul Edochie Shares Positive Experience with Mbaise People

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has spoken out in support of the Mbaise community, contradicting negative stereotypes.

On Instagram, he addressed rumors suggesting people should fear those from Mbaise, urging an end to such misconceptions.

Yul Edochie shared his personal experience, revealing that every individual from Mbaise he has met has shown him kindness.

He particularly highlighted the warm hospitality he received while filming in Mbaise, expressing gratitude for their welcoming nature.

He wrote:

“I don’t know who started this ‘Fear Mbaise people’ idea, and why, it should stop.
I must say this all the Mbaise people I’ve met in my life have been so good to me.
When I filmed in Mbaise the hospitality I received was awesome.
Mbaise people have been very good to me.

In another story, Yul Edochie addresses reports linking him to Colleague shot dead by police in kidnapping gunfight.

Last week, the Lagos state police command said it killed nine suspected kidnappers who “targeted high net-worth residents” in the state.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the command, disclosed that the suspects were killed during a gun duel.

In a startling twist to the abduction case, Eson Rich, a well-known movie producer, emerged as one of the prime suspects.

The viral photo of him with Yul, prominently splashed across reports of the slain filmmaker, depicted them as bosom buddies, injected a potent dose of scandal into the unfolding narrative.

Fuming over blogs falsely portraying him as close friends with the late filmmaker, Yul Edochie took to his social media platform with a fiery video.

Yul lambasted the media manipulation that transformed this innocent snapshot into misleading headline fodder.
