Entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has appealed to Pastor Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere (Odumeje) to use his power to support Nigeria during this challenging time.
Charly Boy expressed concern over the country’s economic struggles and the widespread hunger affecting many citizens.
This appeal comes as the Federal Government, under President Bola Tinubu, has announced measures to address food insecurity in Nigeria.
The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, revealed a 150-Day Duty-Free Import Window for essential food commodities, including wheat, maize, husked brown rice, and cowpeas, to alleviate the crisis.
In a recent message on X, Charly Boy requested Odumeje’s intervention, acknowledging the country’s desperate need for help.
He highlighted the plight of ordinary Nigerians, emphasizing that the hunger and economic struggles are not felt by everyone, particularly the rich.
