Nigerian comedienne Tomama clarifies her decision to decline podcast interview invitations.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Tomama explained that she is hesitant to participate in podcasts, citing concerns about potentially coming across as insensitive, as she has observed in other celebrity appearances.
Tomama expressed her reluctance to share her thoughts on various topics, including marriage and inspiration for the younger generation, emphasizing that she believes the younger generation is capable of inspiring others, including herself.
She kindly requested that podcasters should stop inviting her, as she prefers not to engage in podcast interviews.
Speaking in pidgin, she said; “Public service announcement, I no dey do podcast because the amount of podcasts interview I don get of recent is too much. So I no dey do.
“Sense wey I no get, no be for podcast I won make una find out because a lot of times when I see celebrities talking on podcast, I say haha I think say this person gets sense before.
“So, all these podcasters asking me to come and talk about marriage, I told them I never marry. Oh come and tell us about your journey or come and inspire the younger ones. All these younger ones don’t need inspiration. They are the one that will even inspire us at this point.”

Tomama claimed that the way the game Truth or Dare is played disgusts her.
She noted that once dare is chosen, she will be asked to remove 10 things from her body or be forced to drink if she doesn’t accept the challenge, which forces her to do it then she gets intoxicated.
