Funke Akindele steps in, offers advice amid feud between GOE and his protégé Barber Chair

Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has shared her perspective on the ongoing dispute between hype man Adesina Taiwo, known as God Over Everything (GOE), and his protégé, Barber Chair.

The feud has garnered significant attention on social media, with both parties expressing their grievances online.

According to reports, GOE expressed his disappointment over Barber Chair’s decision to part ways after investing millions in his career.

He revealed that Barber Chair’s desire to leave had deeply hurt him.  Funke Akindele, known for her roles in high-grossing movies, took to social media to address the matter.

In a live session featuring both GOE and Barber Chair, she advised the young protégé to reconsider his decision.

The actress emphasized the importance of patience and resilience, urging Barber Chair not to make hasty choices that could negatively impact his future.

“There is nothing on the street,”  Funke Akindele said in part, encouraging Barber Chair to stay with his mentor and continue his training.

She stressed that leaving prematurely could jeopardize the valuable lessons and opportunities available under GOE’s guidance.

The actress also had words of advice for GOE, suggesting that while discipline is essential, it should be balanced with understanding.

She advised him not to be overly strict with Barber Chair and to allow him the freedom to make his own decisions, even if it meant returning to the streets.

However, she discouraged any attempts to force Barber Chair to pursue education against his will.
