- Skales urged fellow artists to be mindful of the fact that fame doesn’t last long.
- His tweet was seemingly a reaction to the recent trend of celebrities shading each other on social media.
Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales has called on fellow artists to treat each other with respect.
He shared his thoughts on social media, urging his colleagues to support one another
He emphasized the importance of kindness and consideration towards colleagues, highlighting the fleeting nature of fame.
Skales noted that an artist’s current success does not guarantee future relevance, and encouraged his colleagues to be mindful of this.
On his X handle, he wrote: “Stop disrespecting your fellow artiste especially when you know as e dey go.
“You fit dey untop today no mean say the same people wey dey ginger you no go forget you tomorrow.”
In another news, Skales compares himself to King Solomon.
This admission came during an interview on the Drip Check At The Nike Store show, which was hosted by Sheye Banks.
When asked about the number of women he has been involved with, Skales estimated it to be about 100.
“I have dated about 100 women or so. If I wasn’t married I would probably be on the King Solomon path” he declared.
Drawing parallels to the Biblical figure who famously had 700 wives and 300 concubines, Skales reflected on his own past experiences with relationships.
He stated that when he was younger and single, he encountered various women and was on a similar path.
Reflecting on his past behavior, Skales acknowledged his faults and the repercussions of his actions.
He stated:
“Let me explain. I’m in a different situation right now but back then I just couldn’t get enough of women. Women are endless, you know? You keep going to the streets and you see women everywhere bro. As at then, I would have been like King Solomon. You know he had like so many wives and how many concubines. This guy used to travel and take ships to meet these women.”
“I did a lot of childish things back then. What do you expect from a teenager that had a lot of fame and lots of access to women? There are a lot of good women that I lost because of my childish mentality or behaviour and stuff like that. I’m becoming a better man now.”
