- A Twitter user, identified as Joshua, alleged that Moses Bliss demanded N7 million as fee for ministration.
- The X user who seemed disappointed with the charges, stated that such organisers should invite secular musicians instead and see how people would turn up.
- Many social media users defended Moses Bliss, arguing that his fee is reasonable considering his talent and the value he brings to events.
A recent incident on social media involving gospel singer Moses Bliss has caused a stir among users, with some coming to his defense after he was called out for allegedly charging N7 million as ministration fee.
The controversy began when a Twitter user by the name, Joshua, accused Moses Bliss of demanding N7 million as payment for a ministration.
Joshua expressed his disappointment with the high fee, suggesting that organizers should consider inviting secular artist Olamide instead, implying that it would draw a larger crowd.
“I was told you need N7 million to invite Moses bliss for ministration; they should kuku invite Olamide instead, make he come sing “baba mo ro wo re ninu aye mi…” church go even over full” he wrote.
However, not everyone agreed with Joshua’s criticism. Many users jumped to Moses Bliss’ defense, arguing that the singer is entitled to charge what he sees fit for his services.
They pointed out that musicians, regardless of their genre, have bills to pay and should not be shamed for seeking fair compensation for their work.
