Stop criticizing BBNaija, fund your own shows – Woli Arole to Christians

Woli Arole addresses Christian critics of BBNaija show

Nigerian comedian Bayegun Oluwatoyin, better known as Woli Arole, has addressed Christians who frequently denounce the popular reality show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija).

The much-anticipated ninth season of the show premiered on Sunday, July 28th, 2024, stirring displeasure among many.

Woli Arole took to Instagram to urge Christians to stop condemning the show and labeling it ungodly.

He suggested that instead of complaining, Christians should create their own Godly reality shows, pointing out that there are numerous Christian billionaires who could fund such projects.

Woli Arole emphasized that those who do not sponsor the show have no right to dictate how the housemates should behave. He said:

“Nobody should complain about BBNaija. Do your own Godly reality TV shows! If you don’t sponsor them, you can’t tell them how they should behave. There are Christian billionaires who can fund Godly TV shows. Period.”

Many took to the comment section to voice out their opinions about Woli Arole’s suggestion. See below:
