A housemate in Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ season (9), Rhuthee has opened up on her journey and challenges as a teen mother.
She was having a chat with fellow housemate, Mayor Frosh on Wednesday, when she explained that she was initially ashamed of being a parent at a teenage age.
According to the mother of one, even though she struggled with telling people that she had a child, Rhuthee later discovered that her daughter is the “best thing” that ever happened to her.
The Big Brother Naija housemate, Rhuthee said amid tears;
“How do I tell people I have a child? I can’t tell people. I never used to tell people I have a child.
“It was just people that knew me from way back that knew that. I was still very ashamed that I had a child. It took me years to come out of that shell.
“As she grows, she even showed me more love than I ever did. And I’m like, this girl is the best thing that happened to me.”
