Tonto Dikeh praises Tinubu’s administration, as against past leaderships


Nigerian film actress cum politician, Tonto Dikeh has voiced her support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, drawing favorable comparisons to previous governments.

As the nationwide protest against bad governance in Nigeria is underway, opinions have varied about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Taking to her official account on the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram, the actress and upcoming politician shared an infograph comparing various sectors including foreign reserves, minimum wage, and oil production, among others as of July 2024.

The chart showed an improvement in these sectors as she noted that statistics don’t lie. She asserted that everyone is working to improve the country but Nigerians seem not to agree with anyone they have canceled or disliked.

Tonto Dikeh encouraged everyone to accept the glaring truth and stay safe while making wise decisions. Her words:

“Statistics don’t lie: everyone is working to get this country to where we want it to be. One thing about Nigerians is that if they don’t like you, nothing you do will ever be good enough for them. Let’s not deny this glaring truth. Stay safe and make wise decisions always.”
