Famous Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music producer Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has expressed her support for the nationwide protests against hunger and poor governance sweeping across Nigeria.
On August 1, thousands of Nigerians took to the streets in various states to participate in the #EndBadGovernance protest, which is set to run until August 10.
Protesters carried placards pointing out their demands for government accountability and better living conditions.
The protests have sparked a heated debate on social media, with some criticizing celebrities for allegedly not using their platforms to support the movement.
In response, Simi has voiced her solidarity with the protesters through a tweet.
In her words;
