Uproar as Billboard erroneously tags Wiz Khalifa in Wizkid featured song

• Tagging the artists on the song, Billboard erroneously tagged Wiz Khalifa’s handle, leading to uproar and controversy between fans.

Billboard has stirred mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media after it mistakenly attributed a song to American rapper, Wiz Khalifa instead of Afrobeats superstar, Wizkid.

The international organisation posted a promotional on its official Instagram page for Jamaican singer, Shenseea’s new song titled ‘Work Me Out’ featuring Wizkid.

However, in the caption, Billboard tagged Khalifa and Shenseea’s handle instead of the Nigerian singer, and this generated reactions.

A fan of Davido appeared to mock Wiz for the mistake made by the music and entertainment magazine by writing; “Even Billboard no sabi Wizkid again. Wiz Khalifa ke”.

This led to a heated online exchange between Davido’s fanbase known as 30BG and Wizkid FC, defending the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner.
