- Filmmaker Stanley Ontop slams the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) for lifting Adanma Luke’s ban, calling it unfair and insensitive barely 6 months after Junior Pope’s death.
- He vehemently called for AGN President Emeka Rollas’ impeachment, accusing him of favouritism.
The recent announcement by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) to lift Adanma Luke’s ban has sparked widespread outrage.
Filmmaker Stanley Ontop who has been particularly vocal in his criticism subsequently took to Instagram to express his anger and disappointment.
Ontop argued that lifting the ban less than six months after Junior Pope’s death was unfair and insensitive. He lambasted the AGN, calling them “wicked” and “insensitive” for their decision, given the severity of the circumstances that led to the ban in the first place.
Furthermore, Ontop demanded the immediate impeachment of AGN President Emeka Rollas, accusing him of spearheading the lifting of Adanma Luke’s ban due to her connections with top officials within the guild.
Ontop felt that this was an egregious example of favoritism and cronyism, and that justice had not been served.
