Evicted Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, Damilola has revealed why fellow housemates voted to send her and her partner, Toyosi, packing.
Eight of ten pairs voted for the Tami duo to be evicted from the Big Brother House on Sunday.
The duo were among the bottom four, alongside Streeze, Chekas and The Radicals.
However, The Radicals were saved by the custodian’s NdiNne pair, who had picked the “save only” box.
The other housemates who were not up for eviction decided on which nominees to send home and the Tami pair was voted out.
Speaking shortly after their eviction, Dami claimed that the other housemates conspired to send them home because they weren’t on good terms with them.
“I wasn’t surprised at the results tonight, because Tami has had issues with a lot of the housemates,” she told Ebuka.
Meanwhile, Streeze won the custodian challenge on Sunday night.
Consequently, they will be immune from this week’s eviction.
The pair will also have the power to influence this week’s eviction nomination and Head of House challenge.
With Tami out, the number of active pairs has been trimmed to 13, setting the stage for heightened rivalries and shifting dynamics.
Meanwhile, a housemate in Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ season, Rhuthee has opened up on her journey and challenges as a teen mother.
She was having a chat with fellow housemate, Mayor Frosh on Wednesday, when she exlained that she was initially ashamed of being a parent at a teenage age.
According to the mother of one, even though she struggled with telling people that she had a child, she later discovered that her daughter is the “best thing” that happened to her.
Rhuthee said amid tears;
“How do I tell people I have a child? I can’t tell people. I never used to tell people I have a child.
“It was just people that knew me from way back that knew that. I was still very ashamed that I had a child. It took me years to come out of that shell.
“As she grows, she even showed me more love than I ever did. And I’m like, this girl is the best thing that happened to me.”
