Protest: I don’t pity you for taking the job – Seyi Law tells Tinubu

Seyi Law Shares Opinions on Tinubu's Presidency

Comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, shares his thoughts on Bola Tinubu’s presidency and the ongoing protests in Nigeria.

In a post on X, Seyi Law stated that the criticisms directed towards Tinubu stems from his decision to support Buhari’s presidency. However, he emphasized that he does not pity Tinubu for accepting the job.

He expressed his belief that Tinubu has the potential to improve the state of Nigeria by addressing the challenges left by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Seyi Law commended Tinubu for addressing issues such as exchange rate arbitrage and fuel subsidy, encouraging him to implement more policies that will positively impact the lives of Nigerians, especially at the grassroots level.

Seyi Law also urged Tinubu to engage in dialogue with the younger population, despite the protests being sponsored by certain groups.

He expressed his hope for Tinubu’s success in leading the country.

He wrote:

Dear @officialABAT, I am very happy that I never voted for Buhari at any time. I am very happy. All the hits you are receiving today are because you allowed Buhari to rule Nigeria again.

“While I believe you can help Nigeria get better by fixing the mess. I don’t pity you for taking the job.

“Asiwaju, thank you for stopping the exchange rate arbitrage that was enriching a few of us and the fuel subsidy. Now, let’s get more policies that will better our lives at the grassroots.

“Your Excellency, forget about those sponsoring the protest and engage your young population in dialogue. You can’t afford to fail. God bless you and Nigeria.”
