Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has responded to claims of being a cultist.
A Twitter user had shared a video of Seyi Law at a party, alleging that he is a high-ranking member of the Eiye cult group.
The user also claimed that many individuals in the SouthWest region are affiliated with the group.
Seyi Law reacted to the accusations, stating that he hopes his response to the situation won’t be perceived as oppressive.
He expressed his intention to take action, implying legal measures against the Twitter user.

Reacting to it, Seyi Law wrote:
“I hope that when I take action now, people won’t call it oppression”.
In a similar story, Nollywood actress and producer, Toyin Abraham had few months ago, arrested an X user who wished her son death.
The actress, who has faced intense online criticism for her support of President Tinubu, has demonstrated her commitment to protecting herself and her family from harmful online behavior.
According to a source close to the X user, Yarlo was arrested four days ago by police from Lagos for cyberbullying Toyin Abraham.
The source, identified as Reedah, reached out for help on behalf of the arrested user, revealing the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
Before his arrest, the Twitter user had engaged in a heated exchange with Toyin Abraham, during which he made a disturbing comment wishing death on her son. He wrote, “Your son go kpai soon” (Your son will soon die).
Toyin Abraham responded, promising to use him as a scapegoat, to which he replied, “Use me as the first scapegoat.”
