Oladips accuses Wizkid of intellectual theft over similar lyrics in MMS

Oladips accuses Wizkid of intellectual theft

Oladips, a Nigerian rapper, has publicly accused Wizkid of intellectual theft, alleging that Wizkid’s verse on Asake’s song “MMS” bears a striking resemblance to his own lyrics from “Ajala Traveller”, released in 2022.

Oladips shared a screenshot comparison, highlighting the similarity between his line “I had to lose myself to find my purpose” and Wizkid’s line “Lost Myself, and I found my purpose”.

He questioned the coincidence, asking if it was “recycling or coincidence”, and called on Wizkid to address the issue.

This accusation has sparked a heated debate among fans and music enthusiasts, with many taking to social media to share their thoughts.
