Omoni Oboli responds to accusations of falsifying son’s age

Omoni Oboli claps back at fan questioning son’s age

Actress Omoni Oboli has slammed a fan who questioned the age of her son, Gozi.

The fan, identified on X (formerly Twitter) as Sir Demo of Kwara had expressed doubt over Gozi’s age in a tweet on Friday questioning how a 21-year-old would look so mature.

The netizen had observed:

“I saw one of Omoni Oboli’s sons who just celebrated 21 a few days ago and I thought to myself, a 21-year-old can’t be this mature facially, no matter your financial status.”

Shortly after in response, Omoni reposted the tweet on her account, questioning why anyone would think she’d lie about her son’s age. The actress fired:

“My dear, I’m not cut from the same cloth as those who might reduce their kids’ ages. To what end? My kids grew up in front of everyone.

“People have seen them on social media since they were very little. So how on earth would their ages change?”

Omoni Oboli and Gozi

In July, the actress celebrated Gozi’s 21st birthday on Instagram, posting photos of her son. Omoni Oboli wrote;

“Happy 21st to the human with the best energy I know! My Gozi, @gozioboli, you have only ever brought us peace, as your name Ufuoma implies.

“May God bless you, keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you always. All your heart’s desires will be met by the Lord, and you will be great on this earth.

“As your heart is large, so will your blessings be. I love you so much, my amazing son! Always and forever,”

Weeks ago, the actress announced her first child, Tobe and his wife, Marelle, are expecting their first child.

The duo tied the knot abroad in March.
