- Verydarkman hit back at the buzz surrounding claims that Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has supposedly forgiven him.
- A viral screenshot sent shockwaves online, stating that the influential clergyman had retracted the staggering 1 billion naira lawsuit against VDM.
- In a move drenched in sarcasm, the activist posted a video where he mockingly shed tears, hinting at his next calculated step if it turns out that the general overseer has indeed let bygones be bygones.
Nigerian social media firebrand, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, has unleashed his fiery response to swirling reports that Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry in Warri, Delta State, has allegedly pardoned him.
Recall that Verydarkman had earlier exposed how the pastor slapped him with a jaw-dropping N1 billion lawsuit and a restraining order after he called out the miracle soap and water.
VDM put the controversial products to the test at a disability home, determined to gather damning evidence to bring before the court.
However, on the morning of August 11, a screenshot blazed through the internet, claiming that Prophet Fufeyin had reportedly decided to bury the hatchet with VDM.
The message, penned in a tone of first-person sincerity, highlighted the clergyman’s so-called dedication to living by the teachings of Christ.
It reads;
“Verydarkman, I, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, extend forgiveness to you. I am withdrawing the court case against you. Following the teachings of Jesus, who preached peace and corrected sinners, I forgive you.
“May you learn from your mistakes and walk in righteousness from now on, my son.”
Yet, upon closer inspection, a quick dive into the clergyman’s social media accounts failed to substantiate the origin of this supposed olive branch.
There was no sign that Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin himself had authored the message, leaving its authenticity hanging in the balance.
Nevertheless, Verydarkman, in new video, did not shy away from addressing the viral message. With sharp skepticism, he cast doubt on the authenticity of the text, hinting that it might not have come from the prophet at all.
But even if it were true, VDM made it abundantly clear that he would outright reject any apology coming from the man who, in his words, had caused him deep anguish.
In the clip dripping with sarcasm, VDM mimicked tears, mocking the entire notion of forgiveness in this high-stakes feud. He emphasized that his battle with the general overseer wasn’t just personal—it was a fight for justice, ensuring that citizens were protected from the dangers of substandard products.
