Tanzanian singer Mandojo has tragically passed away after a case of mistaken identity.
Mandojo lost his life on Sunday, August 11, 2024, after he was misidentified as a thief and was fatally assaulted.
His passing was confirmed by fellow musician Soggy Doggy on social media, who expressed his sadness over the news.
Reflecting on the brevity of life, Soggy Doggy mourned the loss and extended his condolences to Mandojo’s family and friends.
He wrote:
“My heart is in great pain, I will miss you very much my brother and friend.
“Rest in peace. Mandojo, surely human life is very short on this earth. Sorry brothers, relatives and friends and I’m very sorry my brother @domokayatz God’s work has no mistakes.”
His colleague Domo Kaya also paid his respects by sharing heartfelt words about Mandojo on social media.
Domo Kaya expressed disbelief about the timing of Mandojo’s passing and wished him eternal peace.
“Daaaah MY SON I don’t believe the 22nd of this month is supposed to be your birthday Aisee why! This is so sad. Rest in peace. may God give you eternal light, friend, brother”he wrote.
Tragically, Mandojo’s life was cut short just days before his birthday.
He is known for his hit songs Nikupe and Dingi.
In another news, Mr Macaroni has reacted to video of a mob beating female student to death in Sokoto.
A mob had killed a female student identified as Deborah over alleged blasphemy at the institution in Sokoto.
Deborah, who was killed in the premises of the College, was accused of insulting Prophet Muhammad (SAW), during a hot argument with fellow students.
The police said the students forcefully removed the victim from the security room where she was hidden by the school authorities, killed her and burnt the building.
Following the horrific tragedy, Mr Macaroni took to Twitter to condemn the heinous behavior and demand that justice be served.
