- Chinwe lamented that the current method of eviction, where the Custodians are given the power to vote out a housemate, was preventing the other contestants from fully expressing themselves.
- She urged Biggie to scrap the method to allow the housemates express themselves without fear of facing eviction.
Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant Chinwe has proposed a modification to the show’s eviction process.
She suggested that Biggie remove the power of eviction from both the custodians and housemates.
Currently, the winning pair of the custodian challenge has influence over nominations and eviction, and sometimes housemates not in the bottom four can vote on which pair to evict.
Chinwe expressed concerns that this method restricts housemates from freely expressing themselves due to fear of eviction by their peers.
During a recent conversation with fellow housemate, Chinwe said :
“There’s too much power in this house, so people cannot actually speak their minds. And that makes mad sense. The fact that we have to even walk in there [Dairy room] to decide people’s fate is enough to calm you down.
“Do you understand? Biggie should scrap that method. Talk your talk. The fact that we have to decide people’s fate, you wouldn’t want to step on toes to avoid other housemates ganging up against you.”
Recall that during the Sunday eviction, Custodians, Streeze, sent Ndi Nnne pair packing from Biggie’s house .
Ndi Nnne, the dynamic duo of Chinne and Nne, officially became the second pair to meet the bitter sting of eviction in the intense BBNaija ‘No Loose Guard’ season.
Their journey came to an abrupt and heart-wrenching halt, leaving the house reeling from the shockwaves of their unexpected departure.
The eviction storm spared no one, as every pair in the house—except for The Mbadiwe Twins (Ocee and Ozee), who basked in the sweet comfort of immunity, and Streeze (Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh), who held the reins as the custodians of the house—found themselves teetering on the edge of eviction.
