Famous Nigerian Afrobeat singer Davido’s viral wedding hit, “Ogechi Remix,” has been removed from YouTube due to copyright infringement claims.

The song, which features BoyPee, Brown Joel, and Hyce, was performed live during Davido’s grand wedding to Chioma on June 25, 2024.

Following its release, “Ogechi Remix” quickly captured the attention of fans and followers. The official music video was uploaded on July 19, 2024.

However, in a surprising turn of events, YouTube has removed the video, citing a copyright claim. Reports indicate that Davido is not listed as the official artist on YouTube for the song.

A trending video circulating online suggests that the original version of “Ogechi” was created by another artist before the remix was made.

As of now, there has been no official statement from Davido or the involved artists regarding the removal.
