Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate Handi recently shared a personal experience during the Aquafina Padi of life task.
During the task, she expressed gratitude towards her twin sister, Wanni, for being a constant source of support throughout her life, particularly during her struggle with drug addiction.
Handi revealed that she almost lost her life to drug addiction but credited Wanni’s strong support for her recovery.
Handi praised her twin sister, Wanni for being a trustworthy and non-judgmental presence in her life, appreciating her sister’s ability to recognize and warn her about potential manipulators.
In her words:
“You always make sure I’m good throughout everything in this house.
“Even when I almost lost my life to drug addiction, you stayed with me all the step of the way.
“You never left my side, now look at me now, hale ans hearty. I’m my self again
“You never let anything or anyone come in between us, even when a guy thinks he can play us both.
“My trustworthy padi, you will tell me the guy is trying to run us street. You know everything about me both good and bad and you never judge me.
“Thank you for always being there for me even when I felt I was never enough.”
Handi had earlier vowed to defend her sister Wanni, declares house ‘no disrespect’ zone.
The declaration came a day after the live eviction show, during which housemates were invited to the diary room to reflect on their experiences.
Handi’s diary session took a notably personal turn when she addressed an incident involving herself, Wanni, and fellow housemate Ruthie.
She made it unequivocally clear that any disrespect directed at Wanni would be met with a strong response from her.
“I won’t have you disrespect my sister in my presence, you wanna fight with Wanni, I will give you Wanni and Handi,” she said in part.
