Fabiyi in a recent Instagram post, urged Nigerians to attend the next court session of the coroner’s inquest, in order to promote transparency and progress in the case.
He suggested that if substantial developments are not made, a peaceful protest could be organized during his one year anniversary to continue pushing for justice.
He wrote: “Let’s storm the court peacefully and attend the next coroner’s inquest and protest to register our demands on this case. If nothing tangible is seen or heard, we focus on the day of the one-year anniversary.”
Mohbad died on September 12, 2023 at age 27.
It’s worth noting that Mohbad was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” but departed from the label in 2022. He had gained widespread recognition for his hit singles such as “Ponmo,” “Feel Good,” and “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” in collaboration with Rexxie.

This news of his death comes a few days after singer, Bella Shmurda revealed how Mohbad, attempted suicide due to a feud with his old record label, Marlian Music.
Mohbad had accused his former record label boss Naira Marley on social media of ordering his goons to beat him up.
Shortly after the incident, he left the record label.
In an interview with well-known media figure Chude Jideonwo, Bella Shmurda claimed Mohbad attempted suicide during his issues with his former record label but was stopped by friends.
Bella Shmurda added that Mohbad went through therapy sessions and hospital for hypertension treatment before he could recover from the issues with Marlian music.
