Nigerian singer Simi reveals the unique skill that caught her attention and led her to fall in love with her husband, Adekunle Gold.

She disclosed that his graphic designing and photo editing abilities were the initial draw for her.

Simi praised Adekunle Gold’s editing skills after he successfully removed a water bottle from a photo of Nigerian chess master Tunde Onakoya.

She shared her admiration for his talent, stating that it was this skill that first caught her attention.

Reposting Adekunle Gold’s edited version of the chess master’s photo, Simi wrote, “This was why I fell for you. I don’t know who sent you to start singing.”

It’s worth noting that Adekunle Gold’s graphic design background is well-documented, having designed the logo for Olamide’s record label, YBNL Nation, before pursuing a music career.

In another news, Simi revealed why she only listen to her husband, Adekunle Gold.

Appearing on the ‘Zero Conditions’ podcast, she explained that she only listens to Gold’s music because they are married. Simi said:

“I don’t listen to anybody’s music, the reason I listen to my husband’s songs is because I’m married to him.

“I like Post Malone’s first album ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’. love J.Cole. I don’t listen to anybody’s music. Nothing changed. I just don’t know.

“I don’t really listen to anybody’s music. The reason I’m listening to my album now is because it just came out. In few weeks, I probably won’t listen to it as much as I do now.”
