- The movie actor on Instagram raised the alarm and stated that scammers have started to impersonate him with the intent of defrauding people.

Popular Nigerian film actor Chinedu Ikedieze, widely known as Aki, has issued a warning to his fans and followers, while alerting them about scammers impersonating him online.
Taking to his official account on the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram on Monday, Chinedu shared screenshots of a chat and a contact impersonating him.
In the exposed conversation, the scammer was attempting to deceive by requesting money, claiming they were unable to make transfers themselves.
Chinedu urged his followers to be vigilant, advising them to always verify any call or message they receive, especially if it appears to be from him. He wrote:
