Nollywood star Esther Nwachukwu has unleashed a fiery critique of Pastor Jerry Eze and his lucrative YouTube praying platform, New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD).
In a revealing and exclusive interview with Legit.ng, Esther didn’t hold back. She made it clear that while she personally finds Eze to be a likable and charismatic individual, she harbors serious concerns about the financial motives driving his ministry.
Esther reportedly charged that the pastor is leveraging his followers for financial gain. She lambasted the NSPPD platform, alleging that the so-called miraculous prayers are nothing more than chance occurrences rather than genuine divine intervention.
In a deeply personal revelation reported, Esther shared her own painful experience.
According to her, she had turned to NSPPD, hoping for a miracle to heal her ailing mother. She said despite her heartfelt prayers and earnest faith in the platform, the healing she sought never materialized.
Esther quoted in the interview;
‘Pastor Jerry is making money on social media. Some pastors these days are not real. When we pray, our prayers don’t get answered. If your prayers get answered, it is by coincidence. If Pastor Jerry does not take offerings, he makes money with the data that we use to watch him
“I mean no harm because Pastor Jerry Eze is a cool guy. When my mother was very sick, I was praying NSPPD every morning. When I was looking for a visa, I joined NSPPD every morning. In the end, I was denied a visa. My mother did not heal and the prayers on NSPPD did not work to date.”
