Nigerian comedian MC Orobo has publicly castigated media personality Martins Otse, also known as Verydarkman (VDM), for his relentless attacks on Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries.
Despite a court-issued restraining order, VDM has continued to disparage the prophet, prompting MC Orobo to speak out.
MC Orobo emphasized that Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has consistently demonstrated his commitment to philanthropy, utilizing the funds generated from spiritual items for charitable purposes. He argued that criticism of the prophet is only warranted if he fails to deliver the purchased items to his congregants, which has not been the case.
The comedian also highlighted the diversity of doctrines across various churches, suggesting that individuals who disagree with Prophet Jeremiah’s teachings should explore alternative places of worship. He emphasized that the members of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries have not expressed dissatisfaction, implying that VDM’s concerns are unfounded.
MC Orobo further challenged VDM to disclose his own religious affiliations, implying that his motives for attacking Prophet Jeremiah may be driven by personal biases. He cautioned VDM that his persistent disregard for the court’s restraining order may result in legal consequences.
