Just like Afrobeats, Fuji music continues to reign supreme in Nigeria, and its enduring influence was showcased in a grand celebration on Wednesday, August 21, at the illustrious Blue Roof Pavilion, LTV 8, Ikeja, Lagos.
The festival, an opulent tribute to Fuji’s finest and its enduring legacy, was a glittering spectacle featuring the genre’s elite: Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, King Saheed Osupa, Obesere, Adewale Ayuba, Malaika, Kollington, and Gospel singer Yinka Ayefele as celebrity guest, amongst others.
In a captivating moment captured on video, Pasuma, accompanied by his entourage, made a striking entrance and gracefully greeted the esteemed elders of the Fuji world.
The scene was electric as Pasuma engaged in animated conversation with Osupa, while Malaika and Obesere mingled within their own circle.
